Brian Whitehouse the School's principal, was appointed Guitar Tutor to the Birmingham Conservatoire in 1973 and has also taught for the Universities of Birmingham Aston,Coventry, Wolverhampton and Keele, the Birmingham Junior School of Music and Schools of King Edward VI. He has worked as a specialist examiner of Diploma and Advanced Certificate candidates for The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music and Trinity College of Music in London.
